Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce has verbally informed that they will not issue the Z visa invitation letter if the Brazilian applicant would like to apply Z visa at the Embassy China in Hong Kong. In this regard, all Brazil nationals / passport holders are required to return to their home country to apply for Z-visa if they wish to work in Shanghai.
This will take effect immediately until further notice.
